I just mounted my PK-AS from tantal on my SAR-2.  I can't seem to get my face far enough from the optic to get a clear sight picture.  It looks like i'm looking down a tube  Does anyone else have this problem and how did you fix it?  Thanks!!!!

News to me but I thought that roughly 3" back was normal. I know that the etched glass reticle does have a bit of eye relief, not infinite like all other dots.

My i just measured and my eye has to be roughly 5 inches from the sight in order to obtain a clear sight picture.  If only three inches were necessary it wouldn't be a problem at all.

About 5" on mine, too.
Not a problem for me as I have a longer than normal stock (similar to AR-15 A2 in length) and a high cheek piece.
If I push my face closer to about 3" I start to get "tunnel vision", too.

Glad to hear its not just me.  I put a slip on buttpad over it and it helped a lot, its just ugly as sin.  Not sure what i'm going to do about that, but at least there is some solution.  Thanks for the replies!
