| Hi guys. I went into the gun store the other day to put a deposit on a VEPR, and sa that he had a Arsenal SAM7 sitting there on the shelf. He gave it to me for $589, and I took a case of Wolf ammo for $89.00. Before I shoot it, is there anything I need to know(tips/suggestions) other than maybe a quick cleaning before I bring it out? Thanks. |

Congrats!! That's a pretty good price BTW. My SAM-7 needs little mnx., unlike my AR. If she's brand new, all I'd do is clean out the bore and wipe off the excess oil/grease before I'd take it out to the range. No problems at all with w/Wolf or Bear after about 2000 rds. |

just clean the pipe, oil/rease up the moving contact points and let it lap itself in. you will notice it smoothing out as it deburrs itself and laps in the sliding surfaces. have a sight tool ready, in case you need to move the point of impact to suit your sight picture. have fun! |
No. After starting my colection with AR15's and 10's, I'm unfamiliar with bumfiring. Maybe a quick refresher for the newb? Also, I orderd some of the 30rd waffle mags from kvar. ~$10...were those the right ones, and is that a decent price? |
There was a good link for it sometime ago. I'll see it I can dig it up for you.
Yep, those are the ones. Excellent mags at a good price. Much lighter than the steel mags, and work just as good. |

A good intro. course to bumpfiring used to be here: www.linx310.nothingbutguns.com/ BUT IT'S GONE? WHAT HAPPENED GUYS? |
