It is a pic of a Chechen wedding in which all of the groomsmen are carrying their AK74's......there is one pic in particular, it is a posed shot of the wedding party(Bride, Groom, Maids of Honor, and all of the Groomsmen.) All of the Groomsmen are holding their 74's like it is just completely natural. The Bride is right in the middle of the photo....she is very pretty and has an unforgettable sly little smile on her face.
It is a Posed pic and you will definitely remember it if you have seen it before...it is truly an amazing pic. Please help me find it. Thanks guys |
| On Tantal's website, he used to have a link to a site with a bunch of photos of the war in Chechnya, but it looks like Tantal's site has been updated, and I can't find that link anymore. I'm betting the photo you're looking for is from that website. I google'd "war in Chechnya photos" and the best hit was to a web site that was down; I'm betting that was the one. |
I hit that downed website too......I was thinking the same thing. I am determined to find this pic though guys........I'm off today and have lots of spare time
The pic is a Professional Wedding Shot. Very Professionally done with perfect lighting and all poses......the bride is very beautiful and some of the men are crouched holding their 74's butt-stock on the floor and some are standing either holding their weapons very naturally, or have them slung on their shoulder...... the focal point of the shot is definitely not the rifles. This is what makes the pic so cool. Also, the smile on the brides face is very peculiar.....it's like a sly little smirk. The quality of the pic is like any American Wedding Party shot......it's not some asshole behind a disposable camera. There are 3 or 4 pics in the series, 1 of them is the bride and groom getting into a car, the groom has a Kyber-Pass style 74 slung across his back. Mixed in with the series are other Chechen fighters posing for the camera. Not so many action shots in this series. Lots of shots of commanders standing around with their rifles, pic of devastated Gronzy, shit like that. I now it is out there somewhere..........I think the last time I saw it was near the beginning of the summer..... |
