Looking at my Poly double underfolder I don't see a separate trunion. Looks like the underfolder hardware is just installed in a hole in the reciever rear. Are the Poly's or all Chinese built different than the Eastern European underfolders?

I wouldn't bump this, but I don't have anything to compare this against. Any input on this issue?

I'll post it again. Stamped Chinese underfolders do not use a trunnion to support the
function of the stock mechanism. The Chinese found the extra thickness
of their receivers eliminated the need for one. The rivets that you see
at the rear of the receiver is simply a small trunnion used to support
the recoil spring assembly. In this respect the Chinese underfolders are
indeed different from European counterparts.
