I have a Russian SKS will all matching parts, synthetic stock, and bayonet. It is the type that excepts external mags. Anyone know what I can get for this. I am looking to get an under-folder AK. |

Chinese SKS's are the only ones that came from the factory accepting detachable AK type mags. If you mean it has a "Duckbill" detachable SKS mag, then that is an aftermarket mag. There are plans out there to convert a regular SKS to take Ak mags, but it takes a good deal of machine work to do it right, and a bad conversion ruins the rifle. A numbers matching Russian SKS would include the standard fixed 10rd mag, and the aftermarket synthetic stock lowers value further. There are variations of Russian SKS that are worth more than others, some have back bayonets and bolt/carrier, others have silver, some have chrome bores others are non-chrome lined, etc. Without more information or pics, I would say $250-$350. |
