Hey guys.. I disassembled my brand new yugo yesterday for the first time but I was having some serious problems re-installing my trigger assembly and magazine. I tried re-installing it with the safety in the OFF position and it wouldn't budge. I put my whole weight of force trying to pop that mother back in but it never could go in. Then I realized I had accidentally switched the safety and that it needed to be in the ON position to insert the trigger assembly back in. Of course in just popped right in... Its in there good now, Haven't fired the weapon yet. I was just hoping I didn't damage anything trying to press the assembly in with safety off. I feel really bad about it. I try to keep all my firearms in the best condition. Stupid Me!! You think I'm just paranoid? just makes me feel stupid and lame you know. If you look in the trigger assembly.. There are two lil prongs that move as the safety as actuated. These are what interfere with the pin that holds in in place. I was thinking I may have bent these or bent something on the receiver.. no way anything bad happened? The gun is in wonderful condition. All matching SN's hammer is hardly warn, barrel is mint... Didn't wana %#$# it up doing something stupid. |
