I took my Romy to the range today and had jamming problems with it. It would fire okay for a few rounds but then would lock up on an empty case that wouldn't eject. I had to remove the top cover and spring and then really force the handle back to get the empty round to eject. It has been pretty reliable until now. Perhaps it was an ammo issue, I was using Wolf Military Classic HP and Bulgarian synthetic mag.

clean the chamber and gas port really good

check extractor for function

Check ejector for length. If it got worn down through use, that would explain why it worked before.

Did you bend the receiver yourself? Maybe you took too much off the ejector.

Try some FMJ ammo. Most romy wasr's and sars need 500rds of FMJ through them before they will reliably feed HP's.

If the empty case is stuck in the chamber it sounds like maybe you need to clean your barrel and chamber real good.
