Do they have single or double hook triggers?  I am getting mine ready for SBR status and need to order a G2 but dont have mine in front of me at the moment and can't remember which one it takes.

Check that it doesn't already have a G2 trigger in it. Some of the PAP pistols have been seen with G2 triggers direct from Century...

Pistols don't have to follow 922r so everything should be made by Zastava including the fire control group.

SBR's don't need to follow 922r either.  That said, I replaced the factory FCG with a G2 because it had bad trigger slap in my M92 SBR.

Care to cite that with a recent ruling?

MY M92 had G2 disconnector and hammer. The trigger was unmarked, but not that much different than the G2 I put in it. The M85 which predates my M92 (by serial #) has all non Tapco parts and the trigger was different as well.

A quick google and now I'm not so sure.  It looks like ATF responded to a letter in 2009.  The letter is about 2/3 way down the page in this link:

http://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?107614-Does-SBR-Negate-922r-Compliance

Someone else needs to chime in since it didn't use to be this way.  While SBR's weren't exempt from the AWB restrictions, they didn't use to follow 922R.

Then you have ATF letters from the 90's contradicting that (google them, they're out there), saying they do  and don't need to follow 922r. Just go 922r OP, I wouldn't go off what the NFA chief. tech says.

I know of at least two well-known builders that don't require U.S. parts if you are having them do SBR builds.  They shall remain nameless..  I completely agree, though, that using U.S. parts is the safest route to go.
