so i'm thinking about getting an RPD and having project guns build it or one that he has done in the past.  what is the trigger like on these, similar to an AK with long/light, AR with short crisp, or just horrible and 50lbs?  i realize this is a stupid question but is it possible to bump fire it from the prone off the bipod?  i was looking into having him build me one with the shorter barrel and put a SEI coast guard break on it so i can use my SEI suppressor.  thoughts from those who have one?

what does it feel like though, you need a lot of pressure or is it a comfortable weight?  if i dump a 100rd belt as fast as i can is my finger going to be worn out

I wouldn't call it heavy, just long.  I don't think you will be able to bump fire it, but I could be wrong.

I had three differant people try to bump fire mine and none were sucessful, so in my opinion I don't think it is possible..

Well I recently found another forum with pics of some "Micro" RPDs that were found in Iraq or Afghan.  One has a 12-13 in barrel while the other has a shorter gas system and around a 9-11in barrel.
