Dont worry bro, that drill press is going to come in real handy anyhow.

I personally like to hand file my pinsPIN HOLES to fit, given I usually peen the holes in slightly, so the pins actually stick out nice. there so many builds out there with the pins just barely sitting flush.......

as the are supposed to . .. .

For just one, I  use a drill collet and turn it by hand.  When I'm doing 20-30 receivers at a time, I chuck the reamer in a power screwdriver.

coming from you, bro, I will take that as gospel.........I just hate it when they are barely showing, seems like it would not wear as well.

btw,  how many have you built now !

It is supposed to be flush.  Except on the SA galil where it doubles as a selector stop, it should not protrude at all.

I'm over 400 now, but the only ones I count are the ones I have to pay excise tax on it.
