| Milled receiver AK-47s have thicker barrels. The rear sight block will probably be too loose on an AKM barrel. Also AK-47s use rear sight blocks with slide ramps calibrated to 800 meters. AKMs are calibrated to 1000 meters. If you use an AK-47 sight block you should use an 800 meter rear sight. Otherwise the range calibration will be off. |
