I picked up an AK folder that was missing the rear sight leaf and leaf spring. I have a rear sight assembly that I also picked up that has those parts. I now need to move them from the "parts" assembly to the rifle. With the aid of a Campy Sight Tool, I was able to get the rear sight leaf off after a little discovery learning. Now I am unable to get the leaf spring out. I thought that it would slip out of its place much like the leaf spring on a Mauser rear sight, but this thing won't budge. Any tricks or suggestions for removal and is there a "trick" to install on the operational rifle?
Thanks

Get some thin nose vice grips, grip on to the front of that bad boy and pull straight towards the front.

Worked for me.
