I took my rear sight off to sand blast my SAR 2 before refinishing, and somewhere along the way, I've lost the spring thingy that goes under the rear sight. I'm looking for a replacement one now, but I noticed there is a small hole under the spring thingy. Was there a pin in this hole that I also need to locate? I tried to find a good parts diagram, but am not having any luck. Thanks.

I could be wrong, but I don't think that "spring thingy" is supposed to come off... The hole you're referring to may be where it was originally spot welded to the rear sight assy... It's possible that you might be able to get a replacement from Century - but that's just a guess... They sent me out a replacement rear sight leaf, and handguard for my SAR-1 when asked - at no charge - so you might try that avenue.... Good luck,
