all of the various american made receivers have 'issues'...nothing that can't be worked around...but something you have to be aware of. the krinks works, but is the least well made of all i've used. the hesse unit builds up the easiest, but i've only seen them in 7.62 x 39 calibre. the itm/oow is available in 7.62 x 39 and 5.45 x 39.5 versions. it, to, has some build issues. none the less, i prefer it for a 5.45 build. they can be ordered thru ohio ordnance works' web site. |
| I too am getting ready for 2 more to be built. I have one on oow being built - I am glad Bob likes OOW for 5.45, I was concerned on not being heat treated, but new ones seem to have it done thoughtout the receiver. I called Global to see if they have any FEG to sell. I am told they sold out on those but have american made of their's coming out soon. They also will have their news Guns with their US built ones coming out in June. |
