Any one use a recoil buffer? any dif in anything, felt recoil etc?

Can't feel it...just prevents metal-metal contact.

Not necessary but I run 'em for the hell of it.

If the carrier is striking the stock block hard, something is wrong with your rifle. find the problem and get it fixed.
Recoil occurs when the cartridge is fired. At that time the bolt is locked to the trunnion. A buffer can't change that.
Recoil buffers are designed to separate people who don't know any better from their money. They do what they're designed to do.

Just about anyone has them. midway has kerbs and wilson

I've shot the same rifle both with and without swapping it out in the middle of a magazine. Absolutely zero difference.

Pointless.

If your rifle functions with one installed, leave it in. It won't reduce felt recoil but it will reduce the impact on your trunnion when the bolt carrier cycles rearward. Cheap insurance.
