On the Romanian AK types (5.45x39) does the FSB ceom off like an AR? - Knock out the pins and pull it off? - no screw/key/threads to watch for?? |

Yeah you can use a 12 ton press to yank it off. Of course you'll scratch the living shit out of both the barrel and the FSB doing this, and when you press your replacement on, so a refinish afterwards is pretty much mandatory. P.S. Alot of the time those pins won't want to punch out, which sucks because there aren't replacements easily available on their own (you can make your own out of drill rod if you have to) so I'm really reluctant to just drill them out. |
