[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Removing handguards

Ive been trying to remove my handguards from my WASR but they wont budge. I did everything that this website said. the handguard comes up a little bit but won't go any farther. Any special ways of taking it off?

Have you removed the gas piston? If you haven't, the handguards won't come off but will move a little.

Thats exactly what is happening how do I take out the gas piston?

Take the top cover off. Pull back and up on the bolt carrier and take it out. The gas piston will come out with it since they are connected.

Now take off the gas tube.

Alright thanks guys finally got the handguards on! it was hard fittin thoes E german handguards on but they look nice!
