I have a WASR10 that I bought as a low cap and eventually want to make it high cap.  I've posted a lot of topics on this and now have another question.  How hard is it to add a new gas block with a bayo lug OR a new front sight base with a lug and threads?  I know a bayo lug shouldn't be a huge issue but I already have a SAR1 that I shoot.  I'm looking to make the WASR10 more for show.

Just a matter of knocking out the pins, pressing it off, lining the new one up and pressing the pins back in. The front site base with the threads is pinned on the bottom and not the top (at least the bulgy stuff is) and will require drilling. It can be done.
