I have a M+M in 5.45x39. First of I think the sight is canted, I tried to zero put like 100 rounds to zero and and nothing happens ... How to fix it considering that the gas block is right there as well? the side mount is not lined. I put my Russian scope from my other ak and the reticle just looks offline like this \. and last ... the Bulgarian mags doesn't fit? I have the cicle 10 and 20 non of these fits. The only that fits right is the one that came with it which is a crappy promag and the Tapco fits after filing a little bit. I also changed the rear sight to a standard AK sight. That was the last thing I did and haven't try to shoot it with the standard AK rear sight yet. Another side question: It is possible to change it for a 90 degree gas block and add a front sight at the front? just like a regular AK. thanks

cant is easy to fix. There are plenty of tutorials out there on this subject. I'm sure you could change the gas block and add a front site, but you might consider just selling it rather than doing this. As for the mags, will the Bulgarian ones not fit at all, or are they just tight? You can take a flat file and slowly and carefully open it up a tad if you want. |

It doesn't get in. seems like the rivet pin between the fcg and the mag doen't let go in. it get stuck below that rivet. what It really worries me, since the gas block is there as well and I try to fix the canted sight (which is the gas block as well) will affect the gas pressure? I know there's a few info about how to fix the canted sight but I don't see any of how to fix this kind of sight with the gas block integrated. |

this post touches on the mag issue. IM the OP and he may be able to give you some ideas on a fix for the mags. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_4_64/144115_Project_M10_____Russian_5_5mm_folder_install______UPDATE_IN_OP.html Your concerns on the gas block are valid. If it was mine, I would pop the pins out and remove the FS/GB and check it. Then when you reinstall you can line it up right from the get-go. I say the chances are good that your rifle will be fine if you just pop the pins and use a rubber mallet to beat it over the little it has to move. Other option is an RPK adjustable rear site. |

OP, The center support needs to be clearanced to allow the rear corner of the mag to pass. Field strip the weapon and try to insert the mag while looking from the top. y\You will see exactly where the material needs to be removed. I had to do it to both of mine. All of my Circle 21s fit now with ease. I only have 16, but I am confident that any Bulgy 5.45 mag will fit. Let me know if you need some help with it. The front and rear sights on both of mine were canted. A firmly mounted vise, a means of protecting the barrel from the jaws, and a rubber mallet is all you need to 'right' both front and rear sights, unless they are insanely canted. The front sight will need to be adjusted afterwards. There is a more appropriate way, but the sight does not look canted enough to warrant that much effort. |
