copes distributing has ak47 bakelites just about everyone has them for the ak74.
steel russian seem hard to find however they seem to always have some on gunbroker but you will pay through the nose

Yes you can get Russian mags from US Vendors sometimes listed as Bulgarian or just straight surplus etc. You can also check out the various boards such as this one or the akforum. I would suspect that within the month you will see quite a few 7.62 bakes for sale once again here in the EE, as well as other types...

But good luck w/your search if you do happen to check this thread again...

Turn back the clock a few yrs back and talk about high prices, they have come down a bit recently though...
