I was checking the local pawn shops today, and came across a russian sks.  It was a CAI import, tula 1950 (I think that was the date), laminated wood stock, and appeared to have matching #s.  the bore looked dusty, and the finish was not bad. they wanted $175 (plus %10 tax).  I ask the eternal question: Should I have purchased it? oh the days when these things sold for 95 bucks.....

has it been arsenal re-conditioned? was the bolt carrier silver color or black? is the rear
sight grey? $175 is a very good price for a Russian SKS with laminated stock.

It has been reconditioned (laminated stock, box with slash mark on it). the rear sight appears dark, and the bolt carrier is silver (). after stripping it down, it has all matching #s, even the rear sight has the numbers penciled on underneath

$175 for a Russian SKS is a very good price.

Sure, its a refurbished one wich is a lower valued SKS. But I still know you got a good deal.

Now, how about some pics!?
