| Has anyone used the Russian sidefolder that K-VAR sells? Is it strudy with no wobble, does it lock in both open and fold positions? Any input would be of help. |

I personally have never used a the Russian side folder but I have done two Bulgarian sidefolders and the are identically the same except the size of the retainer pin that holds the actual buttstock on. It locks in both directions very securely. The front and rear of the receiver will require a lot of modification to install, unless you are buying one of the bent flats that Jokey is selling soon. But non the less it's an outstanding folder and they have quickly become my favorite shooters. I just took this picture today and this is as good an excuse as any to post it.

Kevin, Incredible builds. This is the type of builds I have been thinking of doing and I like the concept of folding to the left so all controls are easy access. Can you explain what has to be modified on the front of the receiver? I can see the mods on the rear and I can do this. I like to have as much Russian as possible and will look at Tantal for the handguards, installing on FEG Hungarian with all compliance parts. Once again excellent rifles! |

I have had too many requests for me to keep on top of, I have uploaded a copy for all to download HERE The only thing to remember is when you print it out, be sure you print it at 100%, it comes out really close. Once printed measure some of the points on it to determine if your scale is accurate. |
