What is the difference between standard Wolf boxed Russian ammo and the Russian ammo in the sealed tins?  I have a chance to pick up of the the 700rd sealed tins, but I wanted to find out the differences  between it and other Russian stuff.  Does it have the laquer?   Thanks!

The canned stuff I've seen has the laquer...

afaik, only the commercially packaged (and less than 2-years old) ammunition is free from the laquered steel cases.

laquer does not bother a kalashnikov.

The tinned stuff is laquered but AK's are made for this kind of ammo.  Also the tinned stuff  shot a lot better than the wolf did in my gun.  My AK doesn't like the wolf at all, 5 inches at 50 yards sucks.
