Any way to find the year of mfg.?

It should be in the first 2 digits of the serial number ie 99-XXXXX

Not on mine,it wouldn't be built yet.Could it be the last 2?

yeah...I think you might be right...I no longer own a SAR...but now that you said it maybe it is the last 2

I thought that was the import date, not the manf date.

Or is that just on MAK90's and such?

...I guess I am going to have to give up smoking crack again....

....on the MAKs it is the first 2 digits, and it is the date of mfr, import dates is anybodies nightmare!

.... it must be however on the SARs the last 2 digits

My SAR 1 - Last 4 is year ex 2003
SAR 2 - Last 2 is year ex 03
