I recently bought a STG-2000-C in 7.62x39. I have pleased with the gun so far. The two thing's I like the best is that the front sight is a complete circle post like a HK and an A2 Birdcage flashider came standard.

I find that the front sight being a "circle post" like that on a HK makes for a quicker sight picture. I plan on installing a Krebs rail with an adj peep (when they come in!!) to complete the package.

I have been shooting FAL's and HK G3's for a while and I have grown accustomed to circular post for combat shooting with open sights--any comments from you guys?

By the way, accuracy is above standard with these models, with 3-6" at 100 yds and within 50 yds it is really deadly with 1-2". It is truly an Urban Combat rifle.

Thanks for your Input!

I have occasionally found the side ears instead of the post when rapid firing with AK irons, and the hoop stops that habit (so does paint).

Glad you found what works for you!
