Anyone got any idea what chinese and russian SKS's are selling for now. I have a bunch that I bought, put up and forgot about. I looked them over the othe day and started wondering. I even have one of those green stocked/parkerized K-Sport jobs. Since Yugo's and others are still cheap, I don't expect they are worth much more than I paid.

I'll give you $200 for a NIB russian.

Around here, nice russians are 300-350. Chinese probably close to that, $50-75 cheaper. (around here if it isnt yugo its worth a LOT heh)

Online is different (cheaper), check out gunbroker.

How do you tell the difference? Quit laughing – I’m serious!

I’ve got several of the Russian ones around here somewhere (all 1952 and 1953, I think).
I always assumed they were new… well okay, old but unissued?

IIRC the refurb Russians will have laminate stocks, dark bolt carriers, etc.  Refurb Russians

I've seen rumblings on collector sites that those K-Sport versions are commanding a premium.  Not enough to send the kids through college, but more than the same rifle before the work.

I'd be a real ass, and start out asking too much for that one, and work my way down slowly.
