Anyone shot or handled one?  They are only $388 in the FAC cataolg and thought it would be a good alternitive to a WASR 2

I talked to the Arsenal guys today at the SAR Show. I would wait until the non neutered versions come out. The FSB with the threads turned down looks hideous.

Does that price sound about right?  Becuase I read in another thread someone said they were around $500

well there's one on Gunbroker for a buy price of $530

FAC usually advertises Dealer price - so add shipping and FFL fee on your end too.

I just saw an auction on Gunbroker.com about to end for a -105R. Price was $445, no reserve, and no bidders.

$388 sounds like an incredible price to me.  Even after shipping and FFL you should come in under $440.  FYI, they are supposed to have an A1 model soon with the bayonet lugs and muzzle brake.   Expect to pay about $100 more.

We just got in some SLR-105 rifles on Friday. They will show up in inventory on Monday. We also have the same rifle with the side optics rail (our p.n. SLR-105S).

As I was told the FSB has not been turned down, rather it has never been threaded.

Some guys here checked the diameter and they have in fact been turned down. There is enough left for Romanian 22mm threads but not for the correct 24mm Russian/Bulgarian threads.

I concur with the assessment that the FSB can be threaded for 22mm threads. This is information provided to me by Arsenal Inc.

Thats the only reason I decided not to get one.  Especially since there are plenty of  "correct" ones out there for just a little more.  Otherwise, they look nice.

I just picked up one of these because I was wanting authentic.  I am very happy with it.  I intend to press of the FSB and have ordered a new Bulgarian FSB from KVAR and will put it on effectively making it into the correct config that it was meant to be in!  I will post pics when it's done...
