What would you do? And "GET BOTH" isn't an option for mehatever On one hand I like the accuracy and hefty feel of the SLR and I know they are highly used by military all over the world. But I like the underfolder design of the Vector and the lighter weight, afterall I don't need wicked accuracy past 100 yards for a battle rifle. So what would you do if you had to choose? |
|
If you're talking about a Commonwealth Pattern L1A1 as the SLR, and I had the choice between a quality built FAL style rifle and a quality built AK, and I could only get one..................... Well, like my licesnse plate says.......... .308 4 ME ![]() If your talking about the Arsenal Inc. SLR-101 milled receiver AK vs. the Vector, I'd still probably go with the SLR. |

slr is 2x the gun ill prolly get flamed for saying so but the uf is really a poor design you shoot it like a rifle and the uf trys to rip the side of your face off you shoot it folded and the folder digs into your side not to mention you can't have a side scope mount or use the safe when gun is folded but hay it looks koo right |
Where are you planning to do battle?
|
Good question. I'm thinking mostly CQB, although I like the accuracty aspect of the SA-M7. |

Specify SAM7S, the S at the end is for the siderail optics mount. Yes it's $50 that could go towards the ult/aim combo, but you will have the option of mounting other optics over the receiver in the future. And you just might decide that them thar commie optics are a bargain... If you are not carrying it all day, the extra mass is nice to smooth out the shots. |
it is a good question but i dont think you answered it correctly, WHERE are you going to battle?? usa, iraq, africa, backyard, or are you playing airsoft games with real guns?? |
![]() A sense of humor guys is an excellent thing to have......makes you live longer too.........as long as the Flesh Eating Zombies don't get you first!
|
Yes, I would get the side rail if I were you. You can mount the best optics made for an AK! |
