Hello,

What is the deal with these?  They are around $599.  Are they any good?
How do they compare to a Arsenal rifel??

Thanks,

T

More details are needed.

SSR-85B?
SSR-85C?
Is the receiver marked 'made in Hungary' or 'FEG'?
Is the muzzle attachment permanently attached?

etc, etc

I have an SSR 85C2, and it's nifty.  Receiver marked 'Made in Bulgaria", as well as "Armory, USA, Houston, TX."  Excellent fit and finish, as far as I know these are or at least 'were' made with new barrels+parts kits.  1.6mm receiver, 1/2x28 threaded muzzle, 'plum' polymer furniture,  hammer forged, chrome lined barrel.  I don't think Armory/Arsenal imports these anymore, but I do believe another company has taken up importation and sales (can't think of the name).

Any of the SSR-85 series of rifles from Arsenal/Armory USA are excellent, buy all you can. I just took out my SSR-85C2 and it is a very nice rifle, excellent build, very smooth action.
