I was wondering what you all thought about the Inter Ordnance Ak gun? Is there a better bang for the buck, if so what? Thanks, John. |

i like the one I got. Because of the longer stock & the thicker grip, it seems to shoot more accurate than any of my other AK's(6). The forearm does feel a bit cheap, so at some point i'll probably change it out. The magwell is done perfectly, so all types of mags fit well & the finish is a bit better than any other WASR. Absolutely no cant or other issues. I picked it up for $349, and since WASR's generally run abut that, I feel I got a steal. |

SOG is out of stock on the stg2000. I talked to Becky at I.O. and she did say they are now buildiing them with U.S. made recievers and barrels, as posted earlier. So I have one that posted ak and the hel* with the stg2000. I have one that says the stg2000 has a better but stock and has better accuracy than his other 6 AKs. Thanks for the input, John.

| They have not started to make the US STG yet but is slated to start production sometimne this summer with another standard wood AK and the Dragunov style 762 x 54r rifle. Supposed to have US chrome lined bbls , we are a distributor for IO Inc & this is the info per the factory . Typically they are 2 -4 months behind their estimates so we do not expect see these until late summer or early fall . |
