Question, what is the best way to store ammo? I have ammo stored all over the hose and I am concerned about it in case of a fire. I have a shed outside but it is not climate controled. Any idea or suggestion are appreciated. |
I kept mine in the crates make moving and stacking easier. |

I really dont think temperature is much of a factor in the longevity of ammo. Do you really think the surplus that we get from shithole countries like Pakistan, and Romainia have climate controlled ammo depots? C&R shooters routinely shoot ammo from WW1, and who knows where or how it was stored. I bet it wasnt in an air conditioned wharehouse with .00005% humidity though. To the OP if you keep your ammo in cans with a couple dessicant pack there is no reason you cant store it in a shed or garage. It will probably out live you. |
i got my 5.45 from CAI, and they dont ship out the wooden crates unfortunately. I already spoke with my rep about it  |
