| A quick internet search turned up nothing that I could find. Just curious if anyone here has ever had to replace the spring in the firing pin channel? I've heard of the Russian SLFP's popping up on gunbroker every once in a while, but has anyone used anything else? |

I think Bill would probably know best. He did the firing pin modification for my 308 NDM86 before I sold it and might have a line on the SLFP options out there

| my tiger bolt has a SLFP and it is retained by a small metal cup like piece that failed and came apart. The TIGER bolt is different than a SVD bolt which is not spring loaded. I made a replacement piece and it works fine. I read you are supposed to replace the firing pin on a tiger every 2000 rounds. I got a real SVD bolt on GB awhile back and it headspaces perfect and works great in my TIGER. I had a .308 NDM and never had any issues with ammo like Ive heard some people have. I only fired Milsup 7.62 through mine though... |
