Love my Vepr in 7.62X39 but dont know why but I just gotta have an AK in 5.56.

Are the SAM 5s fussy about mags and jams like some AKs?? If so Im sure yall Arsenal gurus will have a remedy.
If it fires .223 rounds it can fire NATO 5.56mm ammo then??

Or am I just friggin better off and giving up some of my darksidedness and getting an AR??

AFAIK, they work well with the Bulgarian waffle mags. Other than that you are taking chances.

The straighter 5.56 round has feed angle issues in any gun, period. That means 'pet mags'.

You can get 2moa from good AK, but in trade for the added reliability, they do not respond much to match ammo, and do not usually go under 1.5moa. Total ammo slut vs 1" smaller group potential.
