I had asked Tantal about putting a scope on my underfolder and this is a paraphrase of what I was told.  First you can put a scope rail on the gun that will not interfere with the underfolder stock, but you do have to modify the stock rails a bit.  The next problem to be overcome is that the rail requires sliding the scope mount on from the rear, which is blocked by the underfolder mount.  So, the rail has to be modified (by Tantal) to allow the scope mount to be slid on from the front.  Also, when the scope mount is on, you can not fold the stock.

This is what I was told and I will not claim to be an expert on this subject - I promise I'm not!  I never actually went to get the scope rail put on the gun - it seemed like too much of pain and expense at the time.  Plus, I was put off by the fact that I would have to remove the scope rail every time I wanted to fold the gun.

You can contact them and ask them the same questions.  Perhaps they have come up with a better solution - there certainly is a market for it.

Regards.

What Tantal said is correct.  The mods to the stock rails are pretty significant.  It is possible to do some modifications to the bracket, then mount it waaaay forward and down low.  This position may preclude the use of the compact scopes and their relatively small eye relief but won't affect a red dot.
