A friend of mine came over the other day with his AK47 (Chinese Norinco Mak 90). The mag release on his is so easy to push like it has a light spring. The mag release itself is just a bit (3mm) longer then on my M&M and my M92. and the bottom of it looks round. It is not a "extended Mag Release" and he said that that's how it was when he got it. Does anyone offer a lighter spring for the mag release? I have been searching on Ak Builder, K-Var and google. With no luck...

Chinese mag springs aren't really any lighter than others. The release itself has more surface area which makes it easier to push. I've installed Chinese springs in guns with standard releases and they didn't seem any different. But, here's a link to Chinese parts:

Thanks for the link I appreciate it! Still wondering if anyone makes a lighter spring...
But it makes scene that if you have a longer lever the less effort you will need to move something.
