[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Side Folder trunion question

Hello All,

If I buy a parts kit with a wooden stock at the rear, and I want to install a side folder, like on the Polish Tantal. Do I need to order the side folder and use the trunion that it comes with, or will a wooden stock trunion work?

Oh, and I tried searching for this on the forums, and I couldn't find anything.

If you are going with the wire type folder like the Romanian, E G or Tantal, you can use the tang that is currently in the fixed stock rifle. No need to change anything.

Just have to say it, I just built one with a Romanian wire stock and it rocks. Get one from Copesdist.com they have never been installed and you will have to grind down the bolts that it comes with but you won't regret it.
