Can anyone reccomend a good sight adjustment tool? I need windage but if there is one that also does elevation that woukd be nice. I've tried the spent shell method but my rpk sight wont budge.

Uhm, really? With 440 post's I'd think you'd have this sorted out by now... It's up there with the ABC;s of AK's...
Sorry to be rude, but really, try checking with some of our vendors or doing a product/title search, uh?

No shortage of solutions for your issue, under $20.00

The tapco was an example. Magna-Matic sigh adjustment tools are excellent. I'm just surprised you had to ask about a basic sight adjustment tool.

I've never needed one until I got my rpk, with hindsight I guess I could have just googled it. I had not heard of the magna matic, I knew tapco made one but their only products I have cared for are the g2 triggers and the slant cut muzzle brakes.

I've had a Tapco sight tool for years with no problems.

Hey everybody, let's make the OP feel stupid for asking about a sight adjustment tool on a gun forum.

BOOM_STICK and sdrake100, I'm not talking to you, because you pretty much have that covered.

That was not my intention. OP, if that is the case I apologize. I guess I assumed someone would know how to adjust elevation on the FSB using a tool with some google-fu.

Is there a place other than the Magnamatic website to buy this? I would like one but almost $40 with shipping is a bit more than I feel like paying.

I use a cheap chinese one. I own one of the heavy duty polytech ones but it actually is to wide and bent an ear on one of my sight blocks.

Lol, it's all good. I've got several elevation tools in buttstock cleaning kits, never needed to use one though. I figure if I'm going to buy a sight tool it might as well do both.

+1 for the Magnamatic Gunsmith Edition, no problemo with windage on the most stubborn AK. I also have the Nc Star... its a major PITA to adjust windage, that being said the Nc Star could adjust the elevation on my Poly tech while my Magnamatic couldn`t
