[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Simple, Cheap AK Light Setup

Ok. I need a simple, cheap AK light setup. I have a few Surefire G2 flashlights sitting around and a scope mount that fits it (also a vikings tactics light mount)

But I need something to attach them to. Cheap. I have no rails on the gun and am not interested in going that route. Any ideas?

I agree. That's a nice clean concept, but the price is steep.

If I could find a cheap rail I'd just mount a rail to, say, the upper handguard or something and put the light on there. Or even a mount that screws directly to the handguard.

UTG mount to the bbl of your AK, then use your rail mount (Viking Tactics) light mount off set ...

Simple solution and affordable
