I am building two kits right now and I'm buying the compliance parts to go in it.

I'd like to put a new FCG in both an AMD 65 build and a romanian G Kit build.

The kits both have single hook triggers in them.

Should I order two single hook FCGs?

Is there any advantage to the double hook config and if there is will it work with the rest of my parts?

Something tells me I want two double hook triggers just because more is better right?

Depends on your receiver, if its cut for a double hook, or if you're willing to cut it to accept a double hook. At the front of the cutout for the trigger, at the corner(s) there will be a small U shapped cut for trigger clearance. If theres one on each corner, it can take a double hook trigger. If theres only one, its a single (but you can dremel out a clearance cut if you want to use a double).

There really isnt much difference, but some say the doubles are smoother. Theres also two hooks in case one breaks. You're probably more likely to get struck by lightning, but you never know.

Original AK-47s had a double hook trigger. They went to a single hook trigger when they added the hammer retarder/rate reducer, since its basically located where the second hook used to be.

I'm planning on using a GT 1.0mm reciever..

Will that reciever accept a doublehook trigger?

I'm thinking the difference has to be minimal if later examples of the FA AK used a single hook trigger.

Yes, Global receivers already have the cut out for a double hook trigger.  If I were you, I'd get the Tapco double hook.

Cool I was planning on getting one of the "buy one G2 get another US compliance part Free" deals out there right now..

The G2 is the same as the tapco FCG right?
