Is there instructions somewhere on how to get the sling on? I know this is a stupid question so even insults in response are welcome as long as they are in good taste. I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it.

I think there is a sticky in the reference section. If you're like me, just keep trying and after three or four attempts that didn't work out, you'll get it in the long run.
