Can anyone recommend a good quality sling for an AK47?  I'm looking
for something made from a durable material, perhaps like some of the web
one's I've seen here.  Unfortunately, the search function turned up nothing within the
time period allowed (7 days).

I've got a quality underfolder that I'd like to put one on.

Thanks for your help in advance.

I really like the Romanian green and the Chinese black nylon slings, but just about any surplus AK sling is sturdy.

What country is your rilfe?  For me, I like to match the origin of the sling to the country of the rifle.

I'm a big fan of the IDF slings myself.

But NOT this one; it has plastic clips and they stretch/release:

My favorite "modern" sling is the Gear Sector GS-2P, I use it on 3 of my ARs.
My favorite "traditional AK" sling is the Romy green nylon, I use it on all of my AKs.

I use the Romy Green sling tied on with some paracord.

I am going to end up with a VICKERS PADDED SLING with sewn in push button swivels.

Not the best for your UF though...

Polish AK slings are pretty good and cheap at about $15. The nylon is tight and the hard chromed hardware has a good finish. BSW
