I ordered a few of the SOG Tantals.
When I ordered last week they showed a picture of what looked like a Polish polymer magazine. When they sent me a confirmation of the order it said Polish steel magazines? I went back to their website and they changes the picture to a steel magazine???? If anyone actually receives any of the polymer mags please post it up. I'm curious if they ever had polymers and sold out, or if they just put the wrong picture up. |

Ordered 20 of these as soon as I saw 'em, late last week. After the usual SOG telephone confusion, it was confirmed the Tantal magazines were polymer & near-new. My package arrived yesterday and that was exactly what I got, except for one used circle 21 Bulgarian and a black-painted beater east German. Not complaining though!
Couple days after I placed my order I too noticed the add changed from polymer to worn-looking steel Tantal mags. Dunno what the rest of you guys will receive, just glad I jumped on this deal as soon as I saw it. Ya can't hesitate these days. BTW, in their small print you'll notice SOG has a 3% surcharge for using credit cards, which is why your magazines end up costing $15.40 a pop. Centerfire does the same stupid thing. Personally, I find this practice somewhat disingenuous and highly annoying. But then, not everyone can be AimSurplus or Weigner's ................................. |

Still a good deal....
They did the same shit to me when I ordered 2 tins of 5.45 for $241 ($261 shipped). They charged me an extra $7-10. I order befor the price increase but still got an extra charge, it was still cheaper than anywhere else but come on....... At least they didn't cancel my order or charge me the new price. What are ya going to do I guess, still better than everywhere else. But still.......... And I heard about the credit card charge but I don't think I read about it in their terms. And the first order from them it was $261 shipped but the next one was $270 shipped not two weeks later. They had sold out shortly after my 1st order and a week or so later had it back on the web site so I ordered right away. Then a couple hours later the price changed. Maybe I got away with the credit card surcharge the first time, I hate that stuff. I well still $261 or even $270 shipped for 2 tins is a pretty sweet deal. |
| Got my order today, three were actually metal Tantal mags, with minor surface rust. Looks like the finish was blasted off of these, may repaint after taking off the rust. The other three mags were Bulgy 21s! Two saddle brown and one lighter tan one. Like new condition, very pleased with these. |

That's what I was thinking, as the Bulgys are pretty much new. Fine by me hahaha 
The packing slip also had something to the effect "OK by *name* to pack three *product #*" so I guess they were at the bottom of the barrel too. |
