| Has anyone out there heard from Gary Gucciano? Is he still in business? |

Wow, that's incredible. That's for the info. I'm really sorry to hear about all that. Gary worked up two SARs for me a few years back. I was thrilled with his work, and he seemed like a good guy. I guess I'm in the market for a new AK Gunsmith... I haven't posted on the web for well over a year. |

troy at inrange and mike at ohio's rapid fire support this board, do excellent work...and are nice guys to top it off. weird thing is...they are both honest! gary melted down in a thermonuclear burst of white light. if you haven't been around in a year, i suggest you do a search on this board for the details and then hit the falfiles, reviews forum, sai subforum to see how bad it really got. at one time, gary did do some nice work...or some one did it for him. |

Actually,...he IS still in business (I think). The Atty. Generals office has placed restrictions on how much work he can accept now...and what kind of turnaround promises he can make to his customers. (he has no choice but to be honest, and up front about it) Mine was one of the kits that were seized from his shop. I was not one of the ones who complained to the A/G about him...But once I recieved a letter saying stuff was seized... I elected to have my kit returned to me after the settlement. I recently recieved a gracious apology letter from Gary...offering to complete my rifle in a timely manner. I have decided to finish it myself though (I think) |
