Easiest way I have found to remove the wood but stock is to use the Laundry Bag Technique.
Fill a laundry bag or duffel with dirty laundry. Make sure gun is unloaded. Disassemble gun. Remove 2 screws holding stock in. Grasp gun by barrel, using a chopping over the head swing, beat all 4 sides of the stock on the laundry bag. Stock should wiggle loose. You can also beat the stock on a bed or couch, just don't let the wife / significant other see you! Or mount the receiver in a padded vice. Take a rubber mallet and hit all 4 sides of the stock. Stock will wiggle loose. The Laundry Bag Technique is easier. I get the wire folders confused by country of origin but it should just slide in and screw on. |
