This is from an Arsenal - actually, my dad's AK.  I told him to replace the extractor spring from what he was describing. Then I went shooting with him a couple weeks ago and it's still acting up every 3-10 rounds. Here's a pic:






















Have him try a new extractor?






ETA: I may have to look at the ejector to see if it's worn- that would suck

What up OP! Havent seen you in a minute. Im always stuck in the AR forums. I am in no way an AK expert, or even novice, but I would think its related to a timing issue on cycle/extraction. Disclaimer- I barely know jack shit about AK's tho so I wouldnt be surprised if im wrong

I will the next time I go out there to go shooting. I figured the beat up case might give a clue. I didn't know much about the details inside the AK until recently since I've never owned one that malfunctioned.

 



I think the ejector was kind of beat up, but didn't pay attention..
