I haven't seen this one addressed anywhere else and figured this to be as good a place to ask as any...
1. Why no Soviet 5.56 mags available in the U.S.?
We've got Soviet 7.62 and 5.45 but I've never seen the 5.56 that resemble the Bulgarian 5.45 with the difference being the curvature of the mag body. We've got Bulgarian waffles in 5.56 for a rifle that is pretty much non-existant. Is this just a supply and demand thing or an unwillingness on the part of vendors?

i believe all the soviet mags to be post 1994 production, and therefore unsuitable for import.

Sounds logical, guess I was just trying to be optimisitical since the .223 Saigas are coming in. I like the waffle pattern Bulgie mags but it would have been interesting to compare the two varieties.
