| What is the difference between the Tapco G2 Single hook trigger group and the Tapco G2 Double hook trigger group. I can see by the pictures one has two hooks and one has one hook. Advantages? Disadvantages? Thanks :) |
+1 The double hook was the orginal trigger, that was made that way in case one broke you could still fire, well since that almost never happens, the russians removed one of the hooks to make room for a rate reducer on the rifle for full auto fire. Single hook receivers require filing to accept a double hook, not worth the trouble imo, but to each his own. |

As mentioned doubles will require a little work if you have a single hook receiver so keep that in mind. Its VERY easy but you may not feel like the hassel. In my opinion they are both close to equal. THe doubles have the slight advantage of the extra hook but the singles have the advantage of easier install if you dont have a double hook receiver. I dont think you can make a wrong choice. Just incase anyones curious I sell about 60% singles and 40% doubles. www.MidwestArmory.com |
