I recently installed a Tapco G2 trigger kit in my Maadi and noticed that the bolt will stay open if I hold it back for a second and then let go. It goes back into battery with a slight slap.  Was this kit designed to do this?  I like having the bolt stay back to clear the weapon and show it safe.  Normal??

It happens all the time with a new fcg. When the hammer and the carrier "get to know one another"  the problem will disappear.

It's normal, the carrier is just hanging up on the hammer. Usually the trigger group will eventually "break in" and stop holding the action back.

Me too.

It sucks when you're used to the action staying open, and you try to put a boresnake through for a quick cleaning. then suddenly SLAM! the bolt squishes your finger.

+1, I've had my bolt slam home almost cutting my finger clean off more than once.
