| I've posted this in the Romanian section but thought I'd also give it a try over here. Recently I acquired a Romanian AK with black Tapco furniture (hand guards, pistol grip, full length stock) to go in my patrol car as a compliment to my shotgun. I like the Tapco equipment except for the metal butt plate. To your knowledge, does anyone make a rubber type butt pad that would screw onto the stock? I understand that the Tapco stock is the same size as a factory one but the screws are in a different location?? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |
| Thank you very much. I checked Tapco's website but only found one for their folding stock. Maybe I overlooked it? I'll check again. That would certainly be the best route. I did find one called a "Zenit" that looked promising, but with my luck, the screw holes would be off. |
| What department are you with that authorizes AK's for patrol rifles? That is unheard of here. We are only allowed Colt, DPMS and Bushmaster AR's here by our closed minded and uneducated armoror. I have some friends down in Florida on the S.W.A.T team that carry AK Krinks. |
