Just a thought since I'm hunting Turkey this week..what is the best 7.62 x 39 AK round to use? I have Norninco, Yugo or Wolf and a small amount of Barnaul. Thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Is it not illegal to take turkey with a rifle in your neck of the woods? If it's not, then, why would you want to hunt turkey with communist battle rifle.

barnaul...very accurate....and no its not illegal, in my area you just have to use a 5 round mag

AKs work really well on Turkeys...especially large flocks of running Turkeys...that's what I heard anyway.
